LULA'S PEPPER RELISH 
12 red sweet peppers
12 green sweet peppers
12 onions

Chop fine. Pour boiling water over peppers and onions, mix and let stand 5 minutes. Drain. Pour 1 cup vinegar and 2 cups water over peppers and onions. Boil 5 minutes. Drain.

Make final solution of 1 pint vinegar, 3 cups granulated sugar, and 3 tablespoons salt. Pour over peppers and onions; bring to a boil. Take up into sterilized jars and seal.
