PECAN PRALINE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. flour
1 can crushed pineapple (with juice)
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream sugar, eggs and oil. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with pineapple. Bake in 9 x 13 pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

TOPPING:

Boil together 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 stick butter, for 8 minutes. Add 1 cup nuts, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour over warm cake.
