STRAWBERRY JAM CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs, separated
1 tbsp. spice
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda, mixed with buttermilk
1 1/2 c. strawberry jam
3 c. flour

Cream sugar and butter; add remaining ingredients and bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Use cream cheese icing to top.
