DILL PICKLES 
1 tbsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. alum
2 qts. water
1 qt. vinegar
3/4 c. canning salt

Put dill in bottom of jars, then put the pickles in. Make the solution; boil until hot and pour over the pickles.
