CHOCOLATE FUDGE PIE 
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour or cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
9" pie shell, baked

Mix dry ingredients well. Add milk, then egg yolks. Mix well and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a whisk. Cool until thick and an indentation is left when you stir a spoon through it. Add vanilla and butter. Pour into pie shell and cover with meringue, if desired. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
