CORN MUFFINS OR BREAD 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt

Blend ingredients in a large mixing bowl in the exact order given. Beat until smooth and pour into muffin tins or a 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tests done. Makes 12 muffins.
