CHINESE RICE CASSEROLE | |
2 c. chopped celery 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 2 pkg. Lipton chicken soup (dry) 3 c. boiling water 1 lb. pork sausage (or turkey sausage) 1 c. uncooked rice 1 sm. jar chopped pimentos 1 c. sliced water chestnuts Put soup in large casserole pan, pour hot water in. Drain cooked sausage and add to soup. Saute celery, onion and pepper in 2 tablespoons drippings. Then add to soup mixture. Add all other ingredients and mix. Cover and bake for 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees. This may be frozen. |
