DUTCH BABY PANCAKES | |
2 tbsp. butter 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. flour (unsifted) 1. Place butter in a 9 inch glass pie pan. Place in the oven while the oven is preheating to 450 degrees. 2. Crack the eggs into a small bowl. 3. Measure milk and unsifted flour into a blender. Cover and blend 1 minute on blend. If the flour remains on the sides, scrape with wooden spoon and blend again. Add eggs and blend again. 4. Remove pie pan from oven. Pour the batter from the blender into the pie pan in a circular pattern. Do not stir!!! 5. Return pie pan to the bottom shelf of the oven and bake for 15 minutes. 6. When the pancake is done remove from the oven, cut into wedges and serve. (Makes 2-4 servings.) If you do not have a blender, step 3 can be done in a jar with tight lid. |
