ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. Rice Krispies, crushed
1 c. coconut, flaked or shredded
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 gal. ice cream, vanilla

Mix the butter, Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts and brown in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes. Add the brown sugar and stir well. Cool. Spread half of this mixture on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Slice the ice cream and put it on top of the krispie mixture. Top with the remaining krispie mixture. Cover with foil and put in the freezer until ready to use. Serves 15 to 18.
