ISLAND CHICKEN WITH ARTICHOKES 
Flour
Salt and pepper
Chicken pieces - wings/thighs/legs (4 of each) or 2 to 3 more pieces.
1 can chicken broth
1 c. sliced celery
1 c. quartered onions
2 lg. tomatoes, peeled and quartered
1 pkg. frozen artichoke hearts, thawed

Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat chicken. Brown in oil in large pan. Add chicken broth, celery, onions and artichoke hearts. Bring to boil, lower to a simmer. Cover and cook on top of stove until chicken is very tender. About 1 1/2 hours. Halfway through cooking add salt and pepper if needed. Serve with rice. From my aunt Tita Jo of Hawaii.
