BEAN AND SAUSAGE SOUP 
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. instant minced onion
1 tbsp. instant minced garlic
2tbsp. oil
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes in puree
19 oz. can white kidney beans, drain and rinse
13 3/4 oz. chicken broth
8 oz. kielbasa, cut in 1/4 inch slices
2 bay leaves

Combine water, onion and garlic in measuring cup; set aside 10 minutes to soften. Heat oil until hot in a large skillet. Add onion and garlic mixture; cook and stir until tender, about 4 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, chicken broth, sausage and bay leaves. Simmer uncovered, to blend flavors, 15 to 2 minutes. Remove bay leaves. Makes 4 servings.
