MICROWAVE APPLE CRISP 
6 c. peeled and sliced apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

Place sliced apples in 8 inch microwaveable baking dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Melt butter in small mixing bowl at high power for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir remaining ingredients into melted butter until crumbly. Evenly sprinkle over apples in baking dish and lightly press down. Microwave at high power for 8 minutes. Rotate dish 1/2 turn and microwave at high power 6 to 8 minutes until apples are tender. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.

Variation: Substitute 1 can cherry pie filling for apples. Microwave at high power 8 to 11 minutes or until hot and bubbly in center.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
