MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD 
1 lg. head Romaine, torn
4 sm. onions, thinly sliced
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 c. chopped celery
Poppy Seed Dressing

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large salad bowl, and toss with dressing. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.

POPPY SEED DRESSING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 c. vinegar
2/3 c. oil
1 to 2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients in a jar. Cover tightly and shake vigorously.
