BEER BATTER 
1 c. flour
1 can beer
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt

Thin with water until batter is like thin pancake batter.

For fish and shrimp: Same as above but substitute 1/2 cup Lawry's seasoning salt for salt.

For easy storage and fishing trips, mix dry ingredients and put in a Zip Loc bag. Add beer at time of use.
