SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour 3 c. sugar 2 sticks butter 1/4 tsp. salt 6 eggs 1 tbsp. lemon flavoring 1/2 c. sour cream 1/4 tsp. baking soda Cream softened butter with sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour a little at a time. Add flavoring, sour cream and soda. Stir until smooth. Bake in tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Grease the pans well and line with greased brown paper. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours in tube pan or 1 hour and 20 minutes in loaf pans. |
