CHOLESTEROL-FREE POPOVERS | |
6 egg whites, beaten until frothy 1 c. skim milk 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt (optional) Add and beat milk and butter to beaten egg whites until blended. Beat in flour and salt until smooth. Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 375 degree oven 50 minutes. Then cut small slits in top of each popover to vent steam. Bake additional 5 minutes. Remove from muffin tin. Serve while hot. Makes 12 popovers. Low in cholesterol and fat. |
