GOLDMINE COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder and soda
1 c. sour cream

Cream shortening. Add sugar. Beat until light. Add vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Stir in flour mixture with sour cream alternately, beating well after each addition. Turn half of batter into 10 inch tube pan, that has been greased and floured. Sprinkle with half of topping. Cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

TOPPING:

6 tbsp. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. each raisins and chocolate chips

Cream together butter and brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in pecans, raisins and chocolate chips, mix well. Set aside.
