FRENCH BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans French style green beans
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. diced pimiento
1 sm. pkg. slivered almonds
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can French style onion rings
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Rinse beans thoroughly. Cook in butter and water for 15 minutes. Drain. Stir in pimiento, almonds, and soup. Place in casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Add onion rings to top and heat an additional 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Serves 6.
