SCRATCH ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
2 tbsp. shortening
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cut shortening into flour, sugar and salt mixture. Beat egg and add to dissolved yeast and water mixture.
