MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
1 c. brown sugar 1/2 stick butter 1/4 c. dark Karo syrup Salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Popped corn Mix brown sugar, butter, syrup and dash of salt. Microwave on High 2 minutes. Remove and stir. Cook 2 more minutes on High. Remove and stir. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and stir. Mixture will be foamy. Pour over popped corn in paper bag and shake. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes in bag. Remove and shake. Microwave 45 seconds. Remove and shake. Then pour on foil. Separate and let cool. Store in airtight container. |
