BARBECUED MEATBALLS (FOR
CROCKPOT)
 
SAUCE:

1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. vinegar
1 med. to sm. onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 clove garlic, minced

Turn crockpot on high while preparing sauce. Put all ingredients in pot and stir together well. Leave simmering until meatballs are ready. Double for 4 1/2 quart crockpot.

MEATBALLS:

2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. MSG
2 tsp. salt
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk

Mix together all ingredients and form into 1 inch meatballs. Place on broiler pan and bake in 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Add to sauce, cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
