Place 1 cup creamy peanut butter in cup in hot water for 15 minutes (will get runny). Crush 14 chocolate Oreos in plastic bag. (Set aside 1 tablespoon for top.)
Mix 1/4 cup softened butter with crushed cookies. Press in bottom of pie pan. Spread softened peanut butter over crust. Stand 8 chocolate Oreos around sides of pan and press into peanut butter. Refrigerate.
Prepare 1 package Dream Whip to have ready to add (omit vanilla) 1 package Pistachio instant pudding mix with 1 2/3 cup milk. Beat 100 seconds. Pudding will be thin.
Blend pudding and Dream Whip. Pour in pie shell. Sprinkle top with crumbs. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
