SUGAR AND SPICE PECANS 
16 oz. shelled pecans
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves

In 4 or 5 quart casserole place pecans. Microwave 7 minutes on High, stirring 2 to 3 times. While nuts are cooking, combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in small bowl. Stir until blended.

To hot pecans add butter. Stir until butter is melted and pecans are lightly coated (if necessary, microwave 10-20 seconds on High to melt butter). Add sugar and spice mixture to nuts. Stir well until coated evenly. Allow to cool. Store in covered container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
