CHOCOLATE SAUCE DILETTANTE 
1 c. whole milk
3 tbsp. whipping cream
1/4 c. sugar
9 oz. "eating grade" chocolate (a high quality candy bar will do like Guittard chocolate)
3 tbsp. butter

1. Combine milk, whipping cream and sugar in pan. Carefully bring to boil, remove from heat and cool.

2. Melt chocolate and butter together over double boiler, stirring gently.

3. Carefully add chocolate and butter mixture to milk mixture and stir well. Serve hot or cold over cake, pudding or ice cream.
