SUGAR PLUM BARS 
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. shortening
2 c. granola
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (30 oz.) whole plums, pitted, drained & cut up

LEMON GLAZE:

2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 inch pan. Mix brown sugar, butter and shortening. Stir in granola, flour and salt. press half the mixture evenly in bottom of pan. Spread plums evenly on top. Press remaining granola mixture on plums. Bake until light brown about 20-25 minutes. Spread with lemon glaze and cut into bars.

Lemon Glaze: Heat butter until melted. Stir in sugar and lemon juice until well blended.
