BACON ROLL-UPS 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. pkg. herb seasoned stuffing
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 lb. mild bulk pork sausage
1 lb. sliced bacon

Melt butter in water in saucepan. Remove from heat and stir into stuffing. Then add egg and sausage. Blend thoroughly. Chill for about an hour for easier handling. Then shape dough into small oblongs about size of pecans. Cut bacon strips into thirds, crosswise, wrap one piece around dressing mixture and fasten with a toothpick. Place on broiler pan (so grease drips) and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve hot. May be made the day before baking; also freeze well be baking. Makes 36 appetizers. Bake until bacon looks cooked.
