BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. butterscotch chips
1 c. nuts, optional

Cream Crisco, add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add the rest of the ingredients, chips last. Drop by teaspoons to cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen delicious cookies.
