1 lg. onion, chopped fine
3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 sm. green pepper, chopped fine
10 oz. tomato paste
16 oz. stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute onions, garlic, and pepper in hot oil, until tender. Blend well tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, and all the spices. Add to onion mixture and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
