DEEP FRIED CAMEMBERT CHEESE 
1 (8 oz.) Rouge et Noir Camembert or Brie cheese
Flour
Eggs
Bread crumbs
Oil

Have the cheese very cold. (You may even use it frozen slightly.) Cut in small wedges and lightly coat with flour. Dip each wedge in slightly beaten egg and coat in fine bread crumbs. Refrigerate several hours before frying. Fry in 1 1/2 inches of very hot oil (385 degrees) about 1 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot as an appetizer or as a light dessert with your favorite jam.
