GREEN BEAN SOUP 
2 lbs. green beans
1 med. onion
3 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
2 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 pkg. instant broth and seasoning (Herb Ox) chicken flavor
1 chicken flavor bouillon cube
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sour cream

Dice onion fine and fry in oil and butter until glazed. Do not brown. Add flour and stir until smooth. Slowly add water, stir until smooth. Add green beans, but into 2 inch pieces, add the packet of instant broth and bouillon cube and milk. Next add the salt and lemon juice. Simmer slowly until beans are tender. After soup is fully cooked, place 1/2 cup of sour cream in cup and add from soup to cup until full. Stir until smooth and then slowly add to soup. Do not cook. Soup is ready to serve.
