SALAMI STACK-UPS 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
3 tsp. minced green onion
40 thin slices salami
5-6 sm. whole sweet gherkins
Frilled toothpicks

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except salami, pickles and toothpicks. Mix well. Make 8 stacks of 5 slices of salami each by spreading the cheese mixture between each slice of salami. Wrap and chill overnight. Cut each stack into 6 wedges. Garnish with a sweet pickle slice stuck with a frilled toothpick. Cover and chill.

Pinwheels can be made by spreading cheese mixture on one slice of salami and then rolling up jelly roll style and then slicing into 1 inch rounds. Ham slices can be used also. For variety, place a green onion or small dill pickle on slice before rolling up. Insert frilled toothpick in slice.
