CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature 3 c. sugar 6 lg. eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. almonds flavor 3 c. flour Cream together butter, cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; continue to blend. Add flavorings. Fold in flour and blend until smooth. Do not overbeat. Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hour or until cake tests done. Cake may also be baked in loaf pans. |
