HOMEMADE PIZZA 
Makes one medium thick-crust pizza.

DOUGH:

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
2 1/2 - 3 c. flour

TOPPINGS:

1 jar Ragu Quick Pizza sauce
3/4 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese
Your choice: Pepperoni, sliced; Italian sausage, browned & crumbled; sliced mushrooms
Green pepper & onion, diced

In bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and oil; mix well. Gradually add flour to form a stiff dough. Knead on floured surface until smooth. Place in bowl, cover with damp towel and let rise until doubled.

Punch down dough and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness or pan size. Place on pizza pan and cover with 2/3 jar of Ragu sauce. Top with cheese and then the toppings of your choice. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden.

Use remaining sauce for mini-pizzas on English muffins; kids love them!
