SODA CRACKER COOKIES | |
Saltine crackers, unsalted 2 sticks butter 1 c. sugar 12 oz. bag chocolate chips 1/2 - 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 1. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil and butter. 2. Arrange one layer crackers. 3. Combine 2 sticks butter and 1 cup sugar in pot and fast boil 2 minutes. 4. Pour over crackers and bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees. 5. Cover with chocolate chips and return to oven long enough to soften chocolate. 6. Remove from oven and spread chocolate. 7. Sprinkle chopped nuts over pan. 8. Cool completely and cut. |
