SQUASH RELISH 
10 c. grated yellow or zucchini squash
4 c. chopped onions
2 c. sweet green peppers
1/3 c. salt

Mix and cover with water and let set overnight. Drain and add:

2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. celery seeds
3 tbsp. corn starch
Hot peppers, if you want to

Mix well together. Boil for 30 minutes and pour into hot jars and seal.
