DOUBLE FUDGE SAUCEPAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water
2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour (self-rising)
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional

Cook sugar, butter and water in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat; immediately stir in 1 cup chips, stirring until melted. Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended. Add flour. Stir in remaining 1 cup chips (and nuts, if desired). Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely; cut into bars. 1 dozen bars.
