THE BEST SWEET PEAS | |
The recipe's preparation is the key; it gives you sweet peas cooked in the broth kept green! 1 cup frozen sweet peas 2 cups water 1 tbsp. tarragon 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. sugar 2 chicken bouillon cubes 2 heaping tbsp. butter 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. fresh cracked black pepper 1 tbsp. honey pinch of nutmeg Bring two cups of water to a boil, add all of the ingredients that are listed (except peas). Once the broth is boiling, drop in the peas. Once the peas come back to a spot, let boil for 5 minutes, then shut the heat off, cover 5 minutes, then serve! I hope you enjoy. Serves 5.
