DUTCH CUCUMBERS IN SOUR CREAM 
2 med. cucumbers
1 sm. onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. dill seed
1-2 drops hot pepper sauce
Dash of pepper

Slice the cucumbers thin. Slice the onion and separate into rings. Sprinkle with salt. Combine water, vinegar, and sugar. Stir in to cucumbers and onions. Let set 1 hour at room temperature. Drain and discard liquid. Combine sour cream, dill seed, hot pepper sauce, and pepper. Toss with cucumbers and onions. Cover and chill. 6-8 servings.
