ANNE'S BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. stew meat, cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes 1 med. onion, sliced 1 stalk celery, cut diagonally 6 carrots, cut in chunks 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. tapioca 1/2 c. tomato juice Place meat in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Add onion, celery, and carrots. Blend salt, sugar, and tapioca. Sprinkle over meat mix. Add tomato juice. Seal tightly with foil. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours. |
