LACY RAISIN WAFERS 
3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. light or dark raisins
1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. water
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. uncooked rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg. Rinse and drain raisins; mix with salad oil, water; mix in sugar, vanilla, oats, nuts, then flour mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour. Start heating oven to 350 degrees. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until crisp around edges. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
