ICE BOX ROLLS 
1 pkg. Fleischmann's yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
4 1/4 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. mashed potatoes
2 well beaten eggs

Dissolve the yeast in the 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Scald the milk. Add the shortening, sugar, and salt. When cool, add the dissolved yeast. Add 2 cups flour and beat thoroughly. Add the mashed potatoes and beaten eggs and whip well. Add 2 1/4 cups flour. Mix. Place in a covered container and set in refrigerator. Roll out in the morning and cut with cookie cutter. Fold over and put butter in between. Let rise for 2 hours and bake in 375 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until done.
