CHOCOLATE QUICKIES 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. water
2 c. any ready to eat cereal (such as Froot Loops, Rice Krispies or Puffed Wheat)

Melt chocolate chips, corn syrup and water together in microwave about 2 minutes on High or on stove until able to stir smooth. Stir in cereal. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Chill until firm.

Makes 30 to 36 pieces. Variation: Reduce corn syrup to 3 tablespoons. Add any of the following instead of cereal: 1 1/4 cups candied fruit, chopped, 1 1/2 cups coconut, 1 1/2 cups raisins, 1 cup salted nuts or 6 ounces chopped dates.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
