JUMBO CANDY AND NUT COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. buttered or butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (1 lb.) candy coated milk chocolate pieces
1 c. coarsely chopped peanuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy (2 to 3 minutes). Add remaining ingredients except candy and peanuts.

Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes). By hand, stir in candy and peanuts. Drop dough by scant 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until light golden brown. 2 dozen.
