PINEAPPLE ICE BOX CAKE 
2 lg. bags vanilla wafers
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 med. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 c. black walnut pieces

Crush vanilla wafers. Reserve 1 cup of crushed wafers for topping. Set all wafers aside.

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add pineapple and nuts to creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla wafers and mix well.

Spread in a 13x9 inch pan. Top with remaining cup of crushed wafers. Chill completely before serving. May be made the day before serving.
