MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
3 qts. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1 cube butter
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

Place 3 quarts popped corn in large brown paper bag. In 2 quart microwave safe bowl add 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cube butter, 1/4 cup corn syrup and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Boil 2 minutes on high. Stir twice - remove and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Stir well. Pour mixture over corn in bag and shake well. Fold and seal top down and cook 1 minute. Remove and shake. Repeat this 1 minute cooking procedure 3 times. Pour out on table top and let dry. Eat or pack in airtight containers.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
