1 c. sweet butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 2 1/2 c. oatmeal, powdered (put small amount of oatmeal in a blender after measuring. Blend in small batches until it turns to a powder) 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips 1 (4 oz.) plain Hershey bar broken 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, macadamia or any other kind) Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar; add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and oatmeal. Mix all ingredients together and add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Place golf ball size cookies two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove, cool on waxed paper. Makes 56 cookies. |
