MR. K.'S CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lg. head of cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 c. diced onions
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato soup
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can tomato juice
2 eggs
Bacon strips

Pan boil head of cabbage, after coring separate leaves and set aside (cut out spine). Mix together beef, pork, rice, onions, salt, pepper and eggs. Form mixture into loose rolls. Wrap each roll with cabbage leaf; fasten with toothpicks. Place in roaster. Pour can of tomato soup and can of water; can of tomato sauce and can of water on rolls. Add tomato juice to top of cabbage rolls and place strips of bacon on top of rolls.

Cook at 250 degrees for 3 hours, 225 degrees for 3-4 hours in covered roaster. Serves 12.
