SCALLOPED HASH BROWNS 
2 lbs. frozen hash browns
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
2 c. grated American cheese
1/4 c. butter
2 c. corn flakes, crushed

Mix first 8 ingredients; put 1/4 cup melted butter and crushed corn flakes over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
