CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
Chicken
1/2 c. onion
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
3 cans water (10 1/2 oz.)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 pkg. frozen chicken dumplings

Cook chicken until done. Covered with water. (I like to use the large part of the wing. I don't remove the bone when the chicken is done.) While chicken is cooking, add onions and celery and parsley flakes. When chicken is done, add chicken broth and water and bring to a boil. Add frozen (or make your own) dumplings. Simmer for 30 minutes, remove from heat. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook's Note: Better stir the dumplings or they will stick.
