MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 to 4 qts. popped corn

Pop popcorn. In 2 quart bowl combine everything, except soda and popcorn. Bring to boil in microwave, full power, for 2 minutes. Remove and stir in soda. Put popcorn in paper bag. Pour caramel mixture in bag. Close and shake. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes on full power. Remove from microwave and shake again. Cook in microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes. Shake again. Cool and break apart.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
